- I lived in Anchorage, Alaska when the 1964 earthquake struck so I know what the people of Japan went through. In contrast, though, Anchorage was sparsely populated and there was very little loss of life.

- If we want to keep eating meat, and if we want to keep adding people, something like this will be necessary. I'm for it. Along with some reasonable population control it could considerably extend the lifetime of our civilization.
